Midlands-based law firm Wright Hassall has confirmed they are continuing their series of employment law events for local businesses and HR teams. The next event will be held at their office on 18th September 2019. It is a Mock Tribunal hosted in collaboration with St Philips Chambers who will undertake the roles of Counsel for the Claimant (employee), Counsel for the Respondent (employer) and the Judge.
The mock tribunal will be an immersive simulation of the real thing. The session has been designed with HR professionals and decision-makers in mind. The event will allow the audience to experience, first-hand, the hearing of evidence, cross-examination, submissions and the final decision from the 'Judge' based on a challenging scenario many businesses face.
The team on the day will include Tina Chander, the head of the employment law team at Wright Hassall. Tina is a qualified barrister and solicitor and will bring her experience of advising both employees and employers on the tribunal process. She will also be available to answer your questions during the break and after the event.
