Rooms and walkways at Chester-based legal practice, Aaron & Partners LLP, have been transformed into mini art galleries after the firm teamed up with a group of budding local artists.
A wide range of artwork is currently on display throughout the firm’s city centre office as part of a link up with North Wales arts hub, Theatr Clwyd.
The partnership is aimed at giving local and amateur artists a platform to showcase their creations for free with everything on display being available for clients and visitors to purchase.
Each piece of art was specially selected by members of the Aaron & Partners’ team to highlight the various specialisms of art in the local area including abstract and photography.
Head of Employment Law at the firm, Helen Watson, who also sits on the Theatr Clwyd board, said: “A big part of my role at the theatre is playing an active role in supporting its work in the community and promoting the future of the arts, so I’m thrilled to be giving artists in the local area a platform to showcase their work.
“The hallways and meeting rooms in our office have been brightened up with these wonderful pieces and many of our clients are huge supporters of the arts. It’s created a unique and welcoming environment that we’re really proud of.
“By displaying these pieces, we’re exposing local talent to an industry they wouldn’t typically have access to and by doing that, we’re hoping to see some of the pieces being purchased and relocated to new homes.”
Theatr Clwyd has a strong track-record of supporting artists looking to break into the industry and has a long-standing partnership with Aaron & Partners.
Liam Evans-Ford, Executive Director at Theatr Clwyd, said: “We’re really pleased that Aaron & Partners have provided these local artists with the opportunity to display their work throughout the office.
Our partnership with the firm has allowed us to expose local talent to a totally unique audience and we’re glad to see that the work on display at the firm has already attracted a lot of attention. Aaron & Partners certainly are leading the way for supporting arts and culture in the region – and this is just one more example of the value they place on our work within the community.”
"We're really pleased that Aaron & Partners have provided these local artists with the opportunity to display their work throughout the office."
